Quantity Surveyor 

Our Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget at our London Office.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working with internal teams, assisting in the co-ordination of quotations and proposal development, including pre-tender site surveys.
• Creating project work schedules, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Procuring materials & services and negotiating with subcontractors.
• Reviewing contractual documentation; assist Project Managers with commercial and contractual matters.
• Managing the cash flow on the project; preparing financial information for Directors and Project Managers.
• Accurately record and process related documents and records.
• Building and maintaining customer confidence.
• Staying up to date with all relevant standards and codes of practice.

What You’ll Need:

• At least four years’ experience in managing commercial work in a mechanical and engineering environment and a detailed knowledge of contract conditions.
• High levels of energy, self-motivation, and self-sufficiency.
• Organised and highly methodical.
• Personable with good negotiating skills.
• Possess strong customer and quality focus.
• IT literate with good numerical reasoning skills.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Ideally will have a Degree related qualification in QS, BSC (Hons) in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
• CSCS Card for site visits.

This role has a hybrid working structure, with UK office locations based in London, the Midlands and the North.
