Health and Safety Inspector

Overview:
Our Health and Safety Inspector will be responsible for maintaining the high levels of Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance across our Compco premises and sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out regular inspections on construction sites.
• Monitoring Sprinkler installation process from start to finish.
• Testing/reporting on quality of work.
• Ensuring measurements and material usage follow initial plans.
• Liaising closely with SHE Manager and construction project managers.
• Checking for any defects/H&S breaches.
• Providing reports of inspections and suggesting improvements.
• Making sure installations codes and safety issues are adhered to.
• Marking up drawings detailing site changes.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven Experience in a Health and Safety Inspector Role or Similar.
• Understanding of Sprinkler installation codes and safety issues is preferred, although full training will be given.
• Excellent knowledge of construction industry.
• A Qualification in Health and Safety would be advantageous.
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Exceptional Attention to Detail.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving license.

This is role would require the successful Health and Safety Inspector to be within commutable distance to our Worcester Office: Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX OR Oldbury Office: Units 1C-1D Pearsall Drive, Oldbury, B69 2RA.
