Our Commercial Manager will be responsible for providing national commercial, financial and contractual support for our Small Works department from our West Midlands Office.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist the leadership team in managing the commercial section of the National Small Works Department.
- Lead and manage pre-construction contract reviews, identifying and mitigating commercial risk.
- Offer direction, training and commercial assistance to team members as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective operational processes.
- Resolve contractual and commercial issues.
- Produce commercial reports relating to department functions for review.
- Build and manage long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Create invoices, project work schedules, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare the financial information for Directors and Project Managers.
- Develop an understanding of the full range of products and services offered by Compco Fire Systems.
- Act in accordance with all relevant standards and codes of practice.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of managing commercial work in a mechanical and/or engineering environment.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is preferred but not essential.
- Possess detailed knowledge of contract conditions.
- Excellent team management and mentoring skills.
- Organised and highly methodical aptitude.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK Driving License
This is an office-based role and would require the successful National Small Works Commercial Manager to attend Monday-Friday at Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX OR Units 100-400 Vaughan Trading Estate, Sedgley Road East, Tipton, DY4 7UJ.
