This management role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of essential services that support Compco’s plans for growth. As Service Team Lead, you’ll oversee a wide range of critical initiatives to drive our services forward.
The Opportunity
This is your chance to take ownership of a vital area of Compco Fire Systems, where you’ll lead the planning and delivery of essential support to a range of clients. Reporting into the Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of the service area, from strategy to execution, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll be the go-to expert, providing insights and leadership to keep our service team on track and aligned with Compco ambitions.
You will be required to be on site at our Worcester office.

What will you be doing
You’ll lead the delivery of critical site services that support a workforce of circa 11 people ensuring operations run seamlessly across the complexity of the Sprinkler industry. With a team of sales, site engineers and an administration team here based at Worcester, you’ll oversee contracts ensuring they meet all safety, quality and regulatory standards.
Your role will involve managing the operations of the service team both office and remote, enabling cross functional collaboration between our regional teams whilst making key decisions that align with the wider business strategy. You’ll act with delegated authority on major contracts, build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure services are delivered on time and within budget.
From defining scopes of work to resolving delivery challenges, you’ll be instrumental in driving performance, monitoring KPIS and ensuring compliance. Your leadership will help shape the success of one of the UK’s largest sprinkler organisations.
Who are you?
You will bring a degree level education or equivalent, proven management experience in a related service setting, and have a strong background in managing service departments. Your experience from industries such as construction, utilities compliance management or facilities has equipped you with the resilience and foresight to lead in instrumental change and the highest of delivery standards.
You will have led teams and delivered results. Your ability to think long term, develop strategies and adapt to challenges sets you apart. You’re a confident communicator, skilled in stakeholder engagement and you thrive on collaboration and innovation.
If you hold industry recognised certifications or IOSH accreditation, that’s a bonus, but what really matters most is your commitment to learning, your track record of delivery and your drive to make meaningful impact.
