SITE SUPERVISOR
Lead sprinkler projects across Wales, shape delivery from site and build the experience to move into project engineering or management.
SITE SUPERVISOR
Swansea
Compco Fire Suppression Systems
Full-Time Salary + Van/Package
Run the site. Get seen by the people who plan the projects. Wales-Based Sites Only
This isn't a role where you're stuck managing the same patch forever. You'll be the one on the ground keeping a sprinkler project moving day to day, but you'll also be working close enough to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager that your input on planning, forecasting and problem-solving actually gets heard. That's how careers move sideways into project delivery.
What's in it for you
You'll get real exposure to project-level thinking: forecasting works, managing builders' work requirements and flagging blockers before they cost time
Working closely with your PM and Contracts Manager puts you in the room, not just on the site
A route sideways, not just up. This is a role that builds the exact experience needed to move into project engineering or management down the line
Training that fills the gaps. We'll help you get there as part of our development programme
Wales-based sites only. No chasing work the length of the UK
A team that backs you
Duties
Running the day-to-day: toolbox talks, inductions, permits and housekeeping standards
Keeping H&S and QA documentation tight
Managing deliveries, materials stock and supplier communication
Monitoring installation progress and quality, maintaining as-built and progress drawings
Recording and closing out snags via FieldView
Forecasting works, reviewing work areas, and coordinating builders' work with other trades
Setting teams to work and allocating daily tasks to hit milestones
Supervising operatives and subcontractors to spec, procedure and H&S requirements
Keeping clients and your PM in the loop on progress and issues
Supporting commissioning activities alongside other trades
What you bring
Essential:
CSCS Card
SSSTS qualification
Solid knowledge of CDM Regulations and site H&S management
Proven site supervisor experience in the construction industry (sprinkler industry advantage)
Comfortable with project management software and Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication
Able to hold deadlines under pressure
Full UK driving licence
Bonus points for: knowledge of British Standards, sprinkler experience, NVQ Level 3+ in construction or fire protection, IPAF, PASMA, FieldView experience, familiarity with digital drawings, or SMSTS.
Don't tick every box? If you've got the experience and potential, we'll help you get qualified.
If you want a site role with real influence on how projects get delivered and a clear path to move into that side of the business, we want to hear from you.
